2017 Legendary Pinot Noir

2017 Legendary Pinot Noir - $68. Everything about this wine showcases the passion behind the Legendary wines. Obscure, limited quantity (240 bottles) Willamette Valley Oregon Pinot Noir. Having made Pinot Noir for other wineries in the past I knew at some point I wanted to make one. Will I make another one, who knows, but what I do know is this one for me is Legendary? It is lush plum, dark cherry, violets and red currants are wrapped around French oak, medium tannins, spiced undertones, and hints of earth. There is nothing wimpy about this wine as its depth, complexity, natural acidity, and lengthy finish will make it one that is also age worthy. Very limited release at only 120 bottles. The plan is to hold another 120 bottles in the library for a rerelease at another time.
